Alix Wood has been a freelance designer since 1990. She has experience working for a host of publishers and companies, on a wide variety of projects. Alix initially studied for a BEd (Hons) degree in Education and English, and taught briefly, before going back to her main love of art and design with a post graduate design and illustration diploma.

Alix has worked as a designer for marketing companies, and as Senior Designer and joint Head of Department at the publishers Andromeda Oxford Ltd. Alix has experience of organising schedules and budgets as well as liaising with all the parties necessary to take a project from conception through to print.
